While the original Crisis Response feature was launched in 2017, a new feature will be coming out this year. Previously, the Crisis Response Hub helped people stay safe by only informing when the crisis arose. Facebook Dating App
Similar to Tinder and Bumble, with Facebook’s dating and relationships feature, you will be able to create a dating profile that is different than your personal Facebook profile. The dating app will recommend you potential matches based on the common interests and hobbies, mutual friends and dating preferences. Also, users will have the ability to discover other users with shared interests through Events and Groups. The good thing is that whatever you do within the Facebook dating app will not be shared with your friends, which means your privacy will be maintained.
Facebook introduced this feature to help protect the privacy of the user, which enables them to view and delete information from websites and apps that is collected for the platform’s analytics and ads tools. Through Clear History feature, app developers will not be able to link the information collected to your profile. Since it works in a similar way as clearing cookies and browser history, your overall Facebook experience will not be affected.
This feature has already launched and is being widely used by a lot of users and pages alike. Facebook Stories allow users to upload a collection of photos and videos using the in-app camera that stay for 24-hours. The new update to the feature is that users will be able to add to stories by sharing content from other networks. Using the share button through the app, you will be able to access content through the camera and edit it however you like. The feature will also be available to Instagram Stories. Without linking any accounts on the other apps, you will be able to share content through Stories.
This feature is for Facebook Messenger to translate the conversations in real time. The M Translations feature will be rolled this year in the United States and will only translate English and Spanish conversations initially.
Upvotes and Downvotes
Facebook is known for its “Like” button, that is now used across various other social media platforms. However, this year, Facebook has said to release the opposite of the “Like” button. Although they are not introducing the “dislike” button, the company will be adding an upvote and downvote feature, which will only be available for some comments. Users will be able to use the feature only on certain posts to help promote insightful and helpful comments. This is Facebook’s way to prevent people from abusing the feature.

With this Facebook Messenger feature, brands will be able to integrate augmented reality camera effects for its customers. This will allow users to virtually customize and try on merchandize, whether it is sneakers by Nike or makeup from Sephora. While the customers will have opportunity to learn more about the products as compared to simply viewing them online, the feature will also benefit the brands. It will make it easier for brands to engage audience and provide a better view of the products, thus increasing traffic and sales.
